AIHacksYORK is a dynamic event designed to inspire innovation and problem-solving among university students.
The event to be held at York University Markham Campus* and to feature three days of intensive activities.

Hackathon Structure
Day 1: April 26th, 2025
Industry Reverse Pitch
Local and large businesses present real-world challenges requiring AI-based solutions. Organizations offer cash prizes for the best solutions, with higher rewards for more complex challenges.
Team Formation
Participants select one of three roles: Builder, Seller, or Researcher. Teams of three (one from each role) are formed to tackle selected problems.
Virtual: Discord
One week Sprint
Teams work on their solutions during the week virtually. Mentors will be available for support.
Day 2: May 3rd, 2025
Solution Presentation
Teams present or demo their solutions to a panel of judges. Prizes are awarded for the best solutions in various categories.
